The New Bride
04.04.2014

Inspired by the latest Free People bridal inspo look book (Blogged HERE) and a few other Bohemia-bridal shoots and blog posts I’ve spotted lately, a little collection of images in ode to the new bride. Gone are the days where the only choice we had was to scouring through idiotic glossy bridal mags that make you vomit in your throat… Today all you need to do is click on Pinterest or any number of gorgeous bridal blogs like The Lane, to see that brides don’t need to be bogans.
There’s a kind of ‘woodstock-gypsy’ style-fusion that’s happened around bridal wear – where instead of conforming to a standard we can wear the dress we really dreamed of when we were growing up… be it going barefoot in a dress you picked up at a thrift store for $50, a gorgeous lacey number from Stone Cold Fox or Mara Hoffman, or finding a one off dress from a grass-roots label like My Sunday Feeling… the choices are wide open and I love it!
