Gumboots/festival inspo mashup for a rainy Good Friday – for all those babe’n peeps at Blues Fest 2015!

Inspired by local Hunter boots stockist DRIFTLAB (on this rainy festival weekend I’d say its the most popular shop in town, what with their lovely array of Hunter boots…)

I’m sitting here on my daybed (why do so many of my blog posts start like that??)… outside the rain is tiptoeing down from the sky, and my tin roof is playing me a melody of raindrops. The green in my garden is turned up to iridescent, I think the rain makes green greener… Im eating Hot Cross Buns with too much butter, drinking ginger tea and wishing I was festival side (my little 9 month old is alseep in the other room, enjoying her raindrop lullaby).

Our little town has had an influx of lovely souls, all here to share in the joy that is Blues Fest 2015. And I know no one likes a rainy festival, but you have to admit it does give you an opportunity to rock those gumboots like Kate does.
