It’s a strange thing, when you live in a small town and a new creative soul moves into town you can actually feel it in the air. It’s like someone adds an extra stock cube to the melting-pot of creativity. Such was the sweet experience lately when the Steel family moved to Byron Bay.
I first fell in love with Sybil’s photography in a collaboration between herself, Oracle Fox’s Mandy Shadforth and Claire Gorman for bikini bird. And my darl’n Johnny’s worked with Sybil and her husband (legendary surf-filmmaker Taylor Steel) on some incredible projects including L’amant & a yet to be launched One Teaspoon shoot.
Sybil came to our studio a few weeks ago and shot some fun little pics of Spelly and I. The elf-like photographer has an inspiring & energizing spirit that’s totally infectious!

ok so many people commented on the amazing carved skull! Where on earth can I find one?! My friend has animals mounted all over her home (due to her husband) and I would love to get her a chic girl appropriate one! This one is amazing!
