Be my mind’s eye.
22.06.2011
The 2nd (and final) runner up for our June Blogger comp is an entry by Jenifer Fairchild of Be my mind’s eye blog.
We were so impressed with Jenifer’s shoot, not just for the eery-Blair-Witchey atmosphere they captured but because most of the images were shot on actual film – which hardly ever happens these days!! (Unless you’re Shae of Shae Acopian Detar)…
Jenifer Fairchild – Be my mind’s eye:
“That is my Indian alias. I’ve been obsessed with all things Native American lately; animal pelts, feathers, claws, dream catchers, moccasins, braids, skulls. So with all of that in mind, this shoot was born.
I started doing photography about 3 years ago on a crazy whim, but fell in love with it immediately. Up until last November I wasn’t really sure of what I wanted to do with it, but when I finally decided to share my insides with the world my blog was born. For me, photography (and most recently videography) is the most accurate tool of self expression that I’ve found. Photos quench the thirst of my soul :)”
Again, thanks to everyone who entered. We sent Jenifer a $100 Spell gift certificate to say thanks and congrats : ) You can check out more on Be my mind’s eye here.
