The morning of this shoot was one of those ideal ones – early morning drive with my fav music playing, pre-shoot smoothies with the whole Gypsy Stone crew – the sun was beaming & you could feel the good Sunny Coast vibes. We trekked up to Noosa to the location; think old-school surf, shapers, cool dudes, mid day beers & the reggae sounds of Bobby Alu playing through the shed. Surf Snip is a collaboration between Thomas Surfboards & Captain SipSops & yep, they had a barber shop in there to!

Danica and I threw a whole bunch of looks together to create that fashion-lover meets boho-babe meets van-wanderer vibe while Lizz Pennings & Bianca Brown (Videographer) made magic with the lens. Every time Elke walked out of our little styling space – we’d all gasp in happiness of how beautiful she looked – she just evoked the Gypsy Stone vibe so well.

It was such a pleasure to style Spell with so many other gorgeous labels (like Goddess of Babylon & Amilita) & work alongside a bunch of people that all shared the same vision & love of life. Go get your summer on in a bunch of threads from Gypsy Stone, while you roam the country side in your maxi dress, wide brimmed hat & cow boy boots. Just have reggae tunes, the surf & the cute boy to match.
